Last year, Hugh and Sue Mingard decided to buy their second Goldpine shed for their Christchurch-based property. They knew about the promotion and it was one of the reasons they got their shed order in before entries closed.

“Our first reaction when we won the shed for free was astonishment because we’ve never won anything bigger than a yoghurt maker before. It was last minute when we finally decided on what the shed specifications were, and we put in the order on the day that the prize draw entries finished. It was a great help to us in terms of cash flow at the time,” they said.
