Welcome to our May edition of The Goldpine Post. This month, we showcase New Zealand’s prosperous horticultural industry and the positive impact that it has on our well-being and our country’s overall economy.

Berry Farms NZ produce raspberries, blueberries, strawberries and blackberries for the domestic market. We caught up with their general manager, Johnny Milmine, at Astill Farm location in Hastings.

In the residential suburbs of Renwick, we met with Ian Bowden as he took us for a tour of his STRONGBUILT® Lifestyle Barn which is filled with all of his prized possessions.

We visited Paengaroa-based avocado grower Paul Ross at Misty Ridge Orchards in the Bay of Plenty. He showed us around his 30-acre property that’s home to 500 avocado trees.
