The Post

February 2023

Welcome to the February edition of The Post. This month, we focus on pride in agriculture; looking after the land, growing crops, raising livestock and feeding the masses is something that our New Zealand farmers and growers can truly be proud of.

You will have noticed a few changes to The Goldpine Post, including the shortening of the name: The Post. It is with great excitement that we have launched the latest development of the Goldpine brand, and you’ll begin to see a few changes taking place around the business to better refl ect who we are. We are still devoted to supplying the world’s best rural market with products that help you get the job done. To learn more about the step we’ve taken, check out the book titled “A Natural Decision”.

We meet Waikato-based dairy farmers Tony and Shona Pedersen who discuss farming, forestry and growing healthy animals.

North Canterbury Drainage owner Josh Sutherland shows us how to install a driveway surface water remediation.

Based in East Otago, Dave and Sarah Smith are sheep and beef farmers who have moved into forestry and tourism as an extension of their business. They own Fallow Ridge Retreat, a deluxe, remote accommodation nestled in the hills of Mt Watkins Farm.

Our State of the Industry article for the month is an overview of our agricultural industry, with qualitative and quantitative insights from key leaders and members within New Zealand.

We intend to continue supplying you with the best stories, activities and techniques in agriculture. If you have anything that you would like us to share, please get in touch.
